  • Description

FRAM® Fresh Breeze cabin air filters can keep up to 98% of road dust and pollen particles from entering a vehicle. The only cabin air filter that uses the natural deodorizing properties of ARM & HAMMER™ baking soda. Contaminants that enter the vehicle with outside air through the vehicle’s air conditioning, heating and ventilation system can become concentrated and expose passengers to road dust, dirt and allergens at higher levels than outside the car.

    • Filters up to 98% of dust, pollen and other contaminants
    • ARM & HAMMER baking soda combined with carbon embedded in the filter assists in cleaning outside air flowing through the vehicle’s ventilation system
    • Helps protect your vehicle's heating and air conditioning unit while also keeping it working efficiently
    • Installs on average in 15 minutes

    1. Road dust and pollen particles ranging in size from 5-100 microns.

  • Installation

    TOOLS: None required.

LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: Behind the glove box or inside the glove box.

REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.

    1. Sit in the passenger side seat and open the glove box.
    2. On the right hand side of the glove box you will see a rod connected to the glove box. This is called the dampener rod. Remove the arm by slightly closing the glove box while pulling the arm slightly forward and off the shaft it is hooked to.
    3. Next push in on both sides of the glove box while pulling it downward until you disengage the stops on each side of the glove box. When you are doing this you will be flexing the glove box until the stops that hold the glove box from opening too far clear the sides of the glove box frame and this will allow the glove box to swing down on its bottom hinge.
    4. You should now see the cabin filter cover. Remove the cabin filter cover and frame by grabbing the cabin filter cover and pulling it straight out. The cabin filter frame is attached to the cover and will be removed at the same time.
    5. Remove the old filter from the frame by pushing it up from the underside of the filter frame and removing it from the tabs that are securing the filter to the frame.
    6. Install the new filter into the frame and insure that the edge of the filter is securely tucked under all the retaining tabs on the filter frame.
    7. Reinstall the cabin filter frame by sliding it back into the housing until it is seated back into position in the housing and the cover is secure.
    8. Pick up the glove box and swing it upward on the bottom hinge like you are closing it and partially close it until the stops on each side of the glove box re-engage. You may want to squeeze in on the glove box or push out on the back of the glove box until the stops clear the sides of the glove box frame if it looks like the stops might damage or scratch the sides of the glove box frame.
    9. Now re-install the dampener rod by sliding it back on the shaft on the glove box.
    10. Close the glove box.
