FRAM® Fresh Breeze cabin air filters can keep up to 98% of road dust and pollen particles from entering a vehicle. The only cabin air filter that uses the natural deodorizing properties of ARM & HAMMER™ baking soda. Contaminants that enter the vehicle with outside air through the vehicle’s air conditioning, heating and ventilation system can become concentrated and expose passengers to road dust, dirt and allergens at higher levels than outside the car.

LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: : In front of the windshield under the cowl vent screen behind the filter service flap.
REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.
Open vehicle hood.
Unclip the three fasteners that secure the forward edge of the passenger-side cowling.
You may need to use a small standard screwdriver to depress the center tab in the fastener.
Remove the passenger side section of cowling. There are two clips on its underside that fit into holes in the metal frame of the vehicle. The clips will release from the holes when the cowling is lifted.
Some models do not come from the factory with a filter but can accept one. These models will have a plastic screen-like insert on the housing to keep leaves and larger debris from entering the air system. If this is the case remove and discard the insert by unclipping the latches on either end of the housing unit allowing the front edge of the housing to swing down on its hinge. Remove and discard the screen-like insert or if a filter is already present remove the filter.
Insert the new filter in the housing with its air flow arrow pointing down. Be sure the filter is completely seated and that the last pleats on each end of the filter fit inside the grooves on each end of the filter housing. Please Note: you do not reinstall the screen-like insert once you have installed a filter. The screen is not needed.
Return the cowling to its original position. Be sure that the two clips on the underside snap securely into the holes in the metal frame of the vehicle.
Re-secure the three fasteners on the forward edge of the cowling and close hood.
