LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: Under the dash behind the glove compartment on passenger side of vehicle
REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.
While sitting in the passenger seat open the glove box and remove the two screws under the latch.
Remove the left and right covers to access the screws on the sides of the glove box. Use a standard screwdriver to pry the covers open. The covers are specific to their sides so keep track of which cover belongs to each side.
Remove the left and right side screws.
Close the glove box.
Remove the fuse box cover panel on the outside edge of the dash.
6. Remove the two screws that secure the right side of the dash panel.
Pull out the panel below the radio - there are no screws securing it.
Remove the screw securing the left side of the dash panel.
Remove the dash panel.
Remove the three screws that go through the top brace into the glove box.
Open the glove box and slowly pull it loose from the dash. Once it pops free disconnect the electrical connector from the glove box. Pull the glove box completely free of the dash and set it aside.
Remove the screws on both ends of the lower metal brace. Do not remove the grounding wire that is bolted to the right side of the brace. Set the brace on the floor and avoid stressing the ground wire.
Remove the filter housing cover by pulling down on the latch at the bottom.
Pull the filter frames out of the housing - starting with the bottom one.
Remove the old filters from their frames.
Put the new filters in the frames.
Insert one of the frames and hold it against the top of the housing to insert the other. Air Flow arrows point towards the driver’s side of vehicle.
Replace the housing cover.
Replace the two screws that secure the lower brace.
Set the glove box loosely in place and reconnect the electrical connector.
Push the glove box into place.
Replace the three screws that go through the top brace into the glove box.
Replace the dash panel.
Replace the screw securing the left side of the dash panel.
Replace the panel below the radio.
Replace the top screw on the outside edge of the dash panel.
Replace the bottom screw on the outside edge of the dash panel.
Replace the fuse box cover panel on the outside edge of the dash.
Replace the four screws that secure the glove box.
