  • Description

FRAM® Fresh Breeze cabin air filters can keep up to 98% of road dust and pollen particles from entering a vehicle. The only cabin air filter that uses the natural deodorizing properties of ARM & HAMMER™ baking soda. Contaminants that enter the vehicle with outside air through the vehicle’s air conditioning, heating and ventilation system can become concentrated and expose passengers to road dust, dirt and allergens at higher levels than outside the car.

    • Filters up to 98% of dust, pollen and other contaminants
    • ARM & HAMMER baking soda combined with carbon embedded in the filter assists in cleaning outside air flowing through the vehicle’s ventilation system
    • Helps protect your vehicle's heating and air conditioning unit while also keeping it working efficiently
    • Installs on average in 15 minutes

  • Installation

TOOLS: Spray silicon and long standard screwdriver.

LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: Under the drivers side dash to the right of the accelerator pedal.

REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.

    1. Open driver’s side door and remove the driver side kick panel (if necessary) {It was not necessary in the model we show below.} to gain access to the cabin filter cover which is located to the right of the gas pedal. If you do not need to remove the kick panel just look for the cabin filter cover
    2. Remove the cabin filter cover by pushing down and pulling it out.
    3. Remove the old filter one section at a time (remove three sections in all) by pulling each out by its tab and allowing the next section to drop down. (The tabs may be taped down. Remove the tape if needed to gain use of the tab).
    4. Lubricate the plastic tracks on the sides of the new filter by spraying them with a spray silicon. This is going to help with ease of installation. Also keep the filters as straight as possible when installing which will also help installation which is not going to be easy because of the placement of the filter housing and accelerator pedal.
    5. Install the first section of filter in the housing. Use the tab or a long screwdriver to raise the filter and push in at the same time while the filter is in the housing so that the leading edge catches on the holding rib inside of the filter case.
    6. Install the second section of filter in the tab of the first filter.
    7. Slide the second section of filter into the remaining channels of the first filter.
    8. Raise the filters so that the leading edge catches on the holding rib inside of the filter case.
    9. Install the third section of filter in the tab of the second filter.
    10. Slide the third section of filter into the remaining channels of the second filter.
    11. Fold the second filter tab down and the third filter tab up over the second.
    12. Install the cabin filter door.
    13. Put the side kick panel back in place if you had to remove one.
