LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: Behind the glove box on the passenger side of the vehicle.
REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.
With the glove box closed use the T20 Torx wrench to remove the three screws on the bottom of the glove box that secure the plastic panel to the glove box assembly. (Note the screws that hold the bottom and top of the glove box assembly are different so keep them separate.)
Pull the plastic panel down from the glove box.
Open the glove box and remove the end cover on the right side of the glove box.
Use the T20 Torx wrench and remove the screw on the bottom right side of the glove box. (Keep this screw separate from the other screws because it is different.)
Use the T20 Torx wrench and remove the 3 screws at the top of the glove box.
Pull out the glove box and remove it from the vehicle. There is a light connector attached to the glove box that will need to be removed. The connection is under a flap of fabric.
Lean the glove box against the center console so it does not stress the other cables that are still attached to the glove box.
Locate the cabin filter cover and remove it by sliding the cover lock to the left.
Remove the first dirty filter by pulling it straight out of the housing.
Remove the second dirty filter by sliding it to the left before removing it.
Install your new filters by installing the first filter and sliding it to the right and installing the second filter straight into the housing.
Reinstall the cabin filter cover and lock it into position by sliding the lock to the right.
Position the glove box partially back into place and re-connect the light connection.
With the glove box open align it to the vehicle and clip it back into place.
Reinstall the Torx screw on the right hand side of the glove box.
Reinstall the three screws that secure the top of the glove box to the vehicle.
Clip the panel on the right hand side of the glove box back into place and make sure the weather stripping is not tucked behind it.
Close the glove box and reinstall the three Torx screws that secure the bottom panel to the glove box.
