LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: Under the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle behind the glove compartment.
REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.
While sitting in the passenger seat open the glove box.
With both hands press inward on the sides to release the stops.
Let the glove box swing all the way down and un-hinge it.
Remove the four Phillips-head screws that secure the plastic frame.
Remove the plastic frame from the dash by pulling out at the bottom.
Remove the two Phillips-head screws that secure the filter housing cover.
Pull straight out on the cover to remove the filter and tray from the housing. Note: Place a covering on the floorboard to catch any debris that may fall out as you remove the filter.
Clean out any debris in the filter housing.
Remove the old filter from the tray.
Insert the new filter into the tray. Be sure that the filter is securely tucked under all of the retaining spurs in the tray.
Slide the tray back into the filter housing and be sure the cover is completely seated.
Re-install the two screws that secure the cover.
Snap the plastic frame back into position so that all the screw holes line-up with the holes in the dash the top edge of the frame must be inserted and then the bottom edge can be pushed into place.
Re-install the four screws that secure the frame.
Re-hinge the glove box and close it. The stops are beveled in order to automatically re-engage when the box is closed
