  • Description

FRAM® Fresh Breeze cabin air filters can keep up to 98% of road dust and pollen particles from entering a vehicle. The only cabin air filter that uses the natural deodorizing properties of ARM & HAMMER™ baking soda. Contaminants that enter the vehicle with outside air through the vehicle’s air conditioning, heating and ventilation system can become concentrated and expose passengers to road dust, dirt and allergens at higher levels than outside the car.

    • Filters up to 98% of dust, pollen and other contaminants
    • ARM & HAMMER baking soda combined with carbon embedded in the filter assists in cleaning outside air flowing through the vehicle’s ventilation system
    • Helps protect your vehicle's heating and air conditioning unit while also keeping it working efficiently
    • Installs on average in 15 minutes

  • Installation

    TOOLS: Standard Screwdriver; Phillips-head Screwdriver.

LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: On the passenger side of the vehicle behind the glove box.

REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.

    1. With the glove box closed locate and remove the two plastic pins at the bottom of the glove box securing the glove box frame to the dash panel. Remove these pins by sliding them out.
    2. Open the glove box. Remove the dampener cord by sliding it down and pushing it through from the inside. Allow the dampener cord to retract.
    3. Remove the glove box by sliding it to the left and out of the frame. Set the glove box aside.
    4. Remove the 4 screws securing the top of the glove box frame. You should see one at each side and two in the middle securing the latch strike. If your vehicle has a piece of wooden trim at the top of the glove box frame it is necessary to remove this piece of wood in order to get to all of the screws you need to remove. Remove the screws securing the piece of wood trim and slide the trim up and remove.
    5. Gently remove the glove box frame by grasping it and pulling it loose. Do this gently as to not break it. If it feels tight do not force it. Look for more screws securing it. The glove box frame and side panel will remove at the same time. Once it is removed set it aside.
    6. Look in the center of the void created by removing the glove box frame and you will see a metal clip. Use a standard screwdriver to pry this metal clip loose. Once the clip is removed grasp the filter at the bottom and remove by pulling it straight out. Remove the second filter by grabbing it and pulling it down and then straight out (The second filter will be directly on top of where the first filter you removed was).
    7. Replace the dirty filters by inserting the first clean filter in the housing with the tab on the filter towards the bottom and slide it to the top of the housing. Insert the second filter in the housing with its tab also facing toward the bottom. It will slide in directly under the first filter. Take the metal clip you removed earlier and reinstall it at the bottom and snap it in place.
    8. Re-position the glove box frame you removed and align the holes and secure with the screws you removed. (If you had a piece of wood trim install it at this time.)
    9. Reposition the glove box and reinstall the dampener cord and close the glove box.
    10. Reinstall the pins at the bottom of the glove box.
