FRAM® Fresh Breeze cabin air filters can keep up to 98% of road dust and pollen particles from entering a vehicle. Contaminants that enter the vehicle with outside air through the vehicle’s air conditioning, heating and ventilation system can become concentrated and expose passengers to road dust, dirt and allergens at higher levels than outside the car.

TOOLS: May need 7 or 8 mm socket and ratchet or nut driver.
LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: In front of the windshield under the cowl cover on the passenger side of the vehicle.
REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.
Open hood.
Remove the passenger side weather strip by grasping the passenger side end and pulling it loose stopping in the center of the vehicle.
There will be one of two ways to access the cabin filter in your vehicle depending on your make and model. On the passenger side of your vehicle in front of the windshield your vehicle may have three or four 7mm or 8mm screws that secure the passenger side cowl vent screen or you could have what looks more like a door. If yours has screws pick the correct size socket or nut driver and remove the screws (3 or 4 of them depending on your make and model) along the bottom edge of the cowling and lift the front edge of the cowling up and remove it. If yours just has the door it is not necessary that you remove the cowl. Just unsnap the clips at the front edge of the door and lift the door up and remove it.
Look into the cavity created by the removal of the cowl or the door and you will see the cabin filter. The filter has a plastic cover over the top edge of the filter. This must be removed to get the filter out. Remove this cover by grasping it on both ends and pulling the tabs securing the ends loose and remove the cover.
Remove the dirty filter by pulling it up and out of the housing. Install the new filter with air flow indicator arrow pointed towards the rear of the vehicle. Make sure the new filter is in the housing securely.
Reinstall the cover on the top edge of the new filter and make sure it is secure on both ends.
Reinstall the cowl or the door whichever you had to remove. If you had to remove the cowl then line up the holes at the leading edge with the holes in the vehicle and reinstall the screws at this time. If yours had the door position the back edge of the door on its hinge and close the door shut making sure the tabs are secured.
Reposition the passenger side of the weather stripping and make sure it is secure and close the hood
