FRAM Synthetic Endurance™ premium oil filters are designed to provide extended durability and performance. Its fully synthetic filtration media delivers 99% filtration efficiency and maximum engine protection for up to 25,000 miles (40,000 kilometers) when paired with the appropriate synthetic or high-mileage motor oil. FRAM Synthetic Endurance™ was specially developed for use in modern vehicles and features heavier steel construction for today's higher flow engines.

- Remove drain plug from housing cap if present and allow oil to drain from cap. Remove housing cap, old gaskets/O-Rings, and filter element. Discard the used filter element and gaskets/O-Rings in the proper manner.
- Clean filter housing components and apply a light coating of clean engine oil to the new provided gaskets/O-Rings. Install, being careful to avoid damage to the gaskets/O-Rings. Avoid twisting of the gaskets/O-Rings.
- Install new filter element into the housing cap. Reinstall the housing cap and tighten to the proper installation torque as listed on the housing cap or in the service manual. Reinstall the housing cap drain if present to the proper installation torque.
