FRAM® Fresh Breeze cabin air filters can keep up to 98% of road dust and pollen particles from entering a vehicle. The only cabin air filter that uses the natural deodorizing properties of ARM & HAMMER™ baking soda. Contaminants that enter the vehicle with outside air through the vehicle’s air conditioning, heating and ventilation system can become concentrated and expose passengers to road dust, dirt and allergens at higher levels than outside the car.

TOOLS:Standard Screwdriver; may need Phillips-head Screwdriver and 8mm Socket or Nut Driver
LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER: In front of the windshield under the cowl vent screen on the passenger side of the vehicle.
REMOVE ALL DEBRIS IN AND AROUND FILTER LOCATION.
Vehicle hood must be opened to enable removal of cowling and to expose filter.
Remove the metal clips (H006) along the front edge of the passenger side cowl. You may use a standard blade screwdriver to pry them loose.
Depending on the year and model you may have 4 plastic screws (H007) securing the top of the passenger side cowl or 4 metal body clips (H008). If you have the 4 plastic screws and they have a Phillips-head you will need to remove by unscrewing them using a Phillips-head screwdriver or if you have 4 plastic screws and they have a flat head you need to use a standard blade screwdriver and rotate them 90 degrees and pull them out. If you do not have the 4 plastic screws you will need to gently lift up the front edge of the cowl look inside the cowl and locate the 4 metal body clips securing the cowl. Use a standard blade screwdriver to push in on them and pry them loose and out of the holes in the firewall. Once they are removed you can remove the passenger side cowl.
Some vehicles may have two screws (H009) holding the top of the filter panel in place. If these screws are present remove at this time; if not move to step 5.
Lift the old filter straight up to free it from its frame and then pull it out toward the front of the vehicle. You may need to flex the water shield up as you remove the filter.
Remove any leaves or debris from the filter housing and the surrounding area under the cowling.
Slide the new filter in position with its air flow indicator arrow pointing down. You may need to flex the water shield as the filter goes in.
Press the filter into the frame and be sure it is completely seated.
